Rangers striker Kyle Lafferty was delighted to have contributed to Walter Smith's last match in charge of the club at Ibrox.
The 23-year old scored the second of the side's two goals in the 2-0 win over Dundee United last night and he was full of praise for his gaffer who he feels has improved every part of him since he joined from Burnley in 2008.
"It was a good way to finish the last home game for the manager," he said.
"To pick up three points was brilliant at such an important part of the season.
"The manager has been brilliant for me. He's turned me into a better player.
"My attitude has been better. He's improved everything about me and he's definitely the best manager I've ever worked under.
"He's not the sort who puts an arm round you but whenever he speaks you listen and take note of what he says.
"He's been around for a long time so whenever he says something you take notice."
