New York Red Bull rookies Brandon Barklage and Connor Lade have signed new contracts with the club.
26-year old Barklage had an impressive debut season with 20 MLS appearances in a variety of positions whilst 23-year old Lade managed 28 appearances in defense.
The duo have been rewarded for their efforts with new deals and Red Bulls sporting director Andy Roxburgh was thrilled to secure them for the foreseeable future.
"Both of these players had very strong seasons for us and have bright futures ahead," said Roxburgh. "We are very pleased to recognize their play by agreeing to new contracts with each of them and we look forward to their contributions in the coming years."
Meanwhile, Lade has been offered an invitation to train with Spanish club Sevilla for a 10-day stint in December.
"This is an excellent opportunity for a young player to train with an established European club like Sevilla," Roxburgh added.
"We hope that Connor benefits from this stint and are looking forward to have him back in preseason camp when it starts in January."
