Olympique Lyon adviser Bernard Lacombe fears losing Alexandre Lacazette this summer.
The France striker is expected to leave Ligue 1 at the end of this season and has been linked with Arsenal and Atletico Madrid.
Lacombe, who works closely with OL president Jean Michel Aulas, told RMC: "Alex's departure will be very complicated for our club, because even if we're going to take a lot of money, he's a huge player and I think we'll realize his departure will hurt us.
"That will be much more complicated for us, unless we make a good choice for his replacement. I do not know which club he will be leaving for. I only hope that he will stay with us for a year, or even two, because he's a huge player.
"Alex, if you see him every day in training, he's a huge, huge player. Frankly, I would like him to stay with us, because what he does is really huge."
