Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp believes the fact that striker Roman Pavlyuchenko is struggling with the English language is having a negative effect on him and the other players.
Redknapp thinks that if the Russian is to remain in England he will need to do better to assimilate.
"It is a problem," he said.
"You've always got this interpreter running around the training ground.
"Sometimes you pass the ball through the middle in training and Pava chases it.
"The interpreter's running alongside him, gets in there and heads it into the net!
"I keep saying, 'What's he doing on the training pitch?' and the interpreter's running over to tell him what I'm saying.
"He doesn't move too well, though.
"In the last two minutes against West Ham, I shouted at him - he could have stopped the right back coming out. If he spoke English better, it would make a difference."
