Gareth Bale believes the fact that nobody expects Tottenham to win the Premier League title could work in their favour.
Spurs sit third on the table, five points behind league leaders Manchester City, and Bale feels that the North London club have put themselves in a great position to have a real crack at the title come seasons end.
"We know we're playing good football and hopefully we'll keep plugging away and keep ourselves in contention.
"There's no pressure. I don't think anyone expects us to win the Premier League, we're up there on merit and enjoying our football.
"As long as we're doing that we'll hopefully keep picking up points and keep ourselves in contention at the end.
"We're playing some great football, need to keep playing that way and stay together as a squad.
"It will not be easy to get above Manchester City and Manchester United but we'll give it a go.""We're not getting too carried away. We will take it one game at a time - I'm sure all the lads will say that," Bale said.
