Labour MP Jack Straw has blasted Manchester United fans.
Blackburn Rovers fan Straw can't believe Old Trafford is introducing a singing section for fans.
He wrote in the Lancashire Telegraph: "The contrast between a club awash with money but whose woeful, glory-hunting fans cannot even sing their side along put me in mind of that biblical injunction: 'For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his soul'.
"Instead I recalled that whacky afternoon in late November 2010 at Old Trafford when Rovers got completely stuffed by United, losing 7-1 (with Berbatov scoring five).
"What was extraordinary about that afternoon wasn't the score line, but that we Rovers fans seemed to be in better voice than United's.
"Of course, I'd rather we were at the top of the Premier League than half way down the next one, but we Rovers' fans know that singing and support comes from the heart.
"We at least don't need a singing section."
