LA Lakers basketball star Kobe Bryant paid tribute to English soccer star David Beckham during their win over Utah Jazz in the NBA play-offs.

Bryant approached Beckham, who was seated courtside, during a stoppage in play and jokingly bounced the ball off the injured LA Galaxy midfielder's head in a mark of respect.

Beckham is currently recovering from a serious Achilles injury he sustained whilst on loan with Italian club AC Milan which will force him out of England's World Cup squad.
