La Ionica and Melbourne Victory to continue partnership

Melbourne Victory has announced that La Ionica has furthered its commitment to the club as a major partner, by continuing to feature on the back of the club's shirt for a further three years.

Melbourne Victory Managing Director, Richard Wilson, welcomed the extension of the successful partnership, noting that the La Ionica brand is now synonymous with not only a healthy lifestyle, but also football throughout Australia.

"We're delighted that La Ionica has agreed to extend its partnership with us, as we embark on an exciting new journey at this football club.

"La Ionica is a fantastic Australian-based company that promotes active and healthy living, so they're an ideal match for us." Wilson said.

La Ionica Chairman, Sam Cuteri said the decision to extend the deal through to the end of the 2013/14 Hyundai A-League season was an easy one.

"La Ionica, apart from being a major chicken producer, has also been involved with local clubs at grassroots level for many years, supporting up and coming talent and encouraging kids to be active." Cuteri said.

"My ambition has been to grow this business into one of Victoria's major suppliers of chicken and chicken products and the relationship we've had with Melbourne Victory has certainly helped us achieve that goal.

"Everyone at La Ionica has been thrilled by the exposure we've received having featured on the back of Melbourne Victory's shirt for the past 2 seasons, and we look forward to continuing that relationship well into the future as the club enters a new and exciting period." Cuteri added.

The La Ionica brand will feature on the back of both home and away shirts of the Hyundai A-League and National Youth League teams for the 2011/12, 2012/13 and 2013/14 seasons.
