LA Galaxy midfielder David Beckham is itching for the MLS season to kickoff.

With England coach Fabio Capello keeping tabs on his preseason form, Beckham said: "I can't wait to get out and show everybody what I am about.

"This is the moment I have been waiting for and this is a fresh start for me and with all that is happening it is a very exciting time.

"The most important thing is that I show everybody what I can do on the pitch.

"That's what I'm interested in more than anything else."
