LA Galaxy's Beckham enjoys new vineyard with San Jose victory

LA Galaxy midfielder David Beckham celebrated a visit to his new vineyard by leading his team to a cork-popping 3-0 win at San Jose.

The Galaxy skipper, 33, was fresh from California's wine country, where he was checking up on the birthday present he bought for wife Victoria last month.

And he was in vintage form, needing just seven minutes to set up the first goal for hat-trick hero Edson Buddle.

With LA missing top-scoring Landon Donovan, Becks insisted: "This team is more than capable of winning games without big players.

"Edson is getting better all the time. He proved tonight that he's a handful."
