LA Galaxy midfielder David Beckham refuses to accept defeat in his bid to sign for AC Milan.

"Nothing is impossible if you really believe in something," the England international declared at Adidas' boot launch.

"Most of the time, the thing that you want can happen. We will just have to wait and see."

However, the latest indications are that the Diavolo's bid and Galaxy's demands are vastly different figures.

Milan director Umberto Gandini is expected to fly to Los Angeles today to continue talks.
