LA Galaxy v Newcastle Jets tickets on sale tomorrow
Tickets for the LA Galaxy v Newcastle Jets match in late November are on sale tomorrow. There is less than 24 hours left until football fans in the Hunter, across Australia and the US will have the chance to snap up the remaining tickets to what will be one of the hottest events on the calendar when the Jets take on the Galaxy at EnergyAustralia Stadium on Saturday 27th November.
When you add in the impressive play-off form of the LA Galaxy, and you have the recipe for a highly entertaining and quality football match.
With work commencing on the new turf today, EnergyAustralia Stadium will be in pristine condition for the LA Galaxy exhibition match. Interest in the match has stretched from around Australia, and has even reached Los Angeles itself, with several fans keen to visit the Hunter for the match.
"Interest in the Jets versus Galaxy match has come Australia-wide, with the added demand from Galaxy members and corporate partners increasing our initial ticket sales," said Jets Executive Chairman Ken Edwards today.
The special priority purchase window for Newcastle Jets Members ends at 9am on Wednesday when tickets go on sale to the general public.
"At this point in time there are approximately 10,000 tickets which will be made available to go on sale at 9am on Wednesday, but that is assuming there is no late rush from some of our Members who may have not had time to get around to purchasing yet. Our recommendation to our members is if you haven't purchased yet, get in now! We don't want you to miss out," said Ken.
"Our challenge has always been to balance the significant cost of staging a major international event such as this with satisfying our core family, community and affordability objectives," said Ken Edwards, Executive Chairman, Newcastle Jets.
"Our main priority was to provide families and our season ticket holders with reasonably affordable access across a range of ticket prices to this international event and it's now time to offer this amazing opportunity to everyone," said Ken.
A family can attend the game for as little as $30 per person (plus Pro-Ticket charges).
