Landon Donovan is under some sort of injury cloud for the LA Galaxy as they get set to face league leaders Seattle Sounders this weekend.
The USA international injured his ankle in last week's 2-2 draw with DC United and only made a brief cameo at Galaxy training on Thursday morning.
However, head coach Bruce Arena suggested to reporters that the Galaxy were 'planning on him playing' at the StubHub Center on Saturday as fourth play first in the Western Conference.
"His situation is to be determined, I would say at this point," Arena told reporters. "He was out a bit today."
Galaxy assistant Dave Sarachan added: "Landon is a warrior. We are taking him day by day. He did suffer the injury against DC. We're hopeful that he'll be available to us on Saturday."
