LA Galaxy are hoping to record a second away win in two matches when they meet Portland Timbers this weekend.
The reigning MLS champions produced a 2-0 victory at Chicago Fire last Sunday to move back to fifth on the Western Conference table after a two-game losing streak prior knocked them down.
Before that, the Galaxy had resurrected their title-defence campaign with three wins in a row and now they need to score another lot of maximum points on the road to keep things rolling along.
"It starts with winning games on the road," defender Sean Franklin told MLSsoccer.com ahead of the clash with the Timbers which precedes Thursday's meeting at Vancouver Whitecaps.
"We have a stretch where we go on the road a little bit, and it's huge, winning on the road.
"That's (win over the Fire) big for our team's character and confidence going into a stretch of away games right now."
