The 31-year old forward starred for the USA as they took out the cup for the fifth time courtesy of a 1-0 victory over Panama in Chicago on Sunday.

Donovan, in his sixth Gold Cup tournament, scored five goals and seven assists to be awarded the Golden Ball, finishing even on goals with teammate Chris Wondolowski and Panama's Gabriel Torres to tie for the Golden Boot award.

In other individual award news for the Gold Cup, Panama keeper Jaime Penedo took out the Golden Glove prize for conceding just four goals in five matches.
