LA Galaxy midfielder David Beckham has rubbished reports he is planning a club move to Australia.

Talk of a stint Down Under has been quickly denied by a spokesman for Beckham, who signed a new two-year deal with the Los Angeles Galaxy in January.

"There is always enormous interest from clubs across the world in signing David as a player," said the spokesman.

"There are absolutely no plans to play in Australia, David is completely focused on the MLS play offs and winning another Championship with the Galaxy."
