Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder David Beckham has ruled himself out of the running for the England job.
Beckham has been installed among a list of possible candidates to become the next Three Lions boss after Fabio Capello announced that he would be leaving the role following Euro 2012.
He joked to Sky Sports News when questioned on the subject: "I wouldn't put any money on that.
"The manager has been in charge for a few years now and he obviously feels that it is the right time to step down in a couple of years.
"And hopefully he ends by winning the European Championship."
