David Beckham was not too happy with the Toronto crowd during Wednesday's CONCACAF Champions League clash at the Rogers Center.
The visiting LA Galaxy drew 2-2 with Toronto FC in the quarter-final first leg in an entertaining match which was marred by a beer can-throwing incident during the encounter.
The target was Galaxy star Beckham and he was not too pleased with the treatment as he stopped the match, picked up the can and gestured in a disappointed tone toward the crowd.
"Everyone saw what happened. We had a big crowd, a great atmosphere and the majority were great to play in front of.
"But you had a minority who reacted like that. Kids see that kind of stuff and it's disappointing.""It was very disappointing," he said after the match.
