LA Galaxy captain David Beckham paid tribute to Montreal Impact fans after their 1-1 draw on the weekend.

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star struck with a trademark free-kick to earn a point on the road.

On the Canadian home support, Becks said: "Playing in front of 60,000 fans is incredible. Wherever you play, that's what you want. Home or away, even if people are for or against you, it's great to play in this atmosphere. We want to thank the Impact fans and the football fans. It was a great day for the game."
