LA Galaxy say they will soon make decisions on whether or not they will pick up the options on those players on their list who have them.
Sean Franklin and Marcelo Sarvas in particular are two players who are out of contract with the Galaxy and the MLS Cup holders are now to make a call on the future of the pair.
Head coach Bruce Arena said: "We haven't made any decisions on what we're doing with players that have options right now. A majority of the players have options."
Galaxy assistant Dave Sarachan suggested that Brazilian midfielder Sarvas and defender/midfielder Franklin could remain at the StubHub Center.
"All of that's going to be looked at closely over the next few weeks, to be honest," Sarachan said.
"What moves we need to make and where we need to add or delete, and at this point, it's still all up in the air. In terms of Sean or Marcelo or any of these guys, those discussions will happen and decisions will be made."
