16-year old young gun Jack McBean has signed a professional deal with MLS club LA Galaxy.
The Galaxy youth academy star is now eligible to be a part of the senior setup after agreeing to sign a homegrown player deal although he is likely to remain at the US Soccer Federation's U17 residency program in Bradenton, Florida for the time being.
McBean, a Corona del Mar High School forward, was delighted to become the youngest ever player to sign with LA.
"I am very excited to be given this opportunity to join the Galaxy and I can't wait to get back to California so that I can begin training with my new teammates," McBean said.
"I am still growing and improving as a player and I believe that having the opportunity to train and play in this new environment will only make me better."
