LA Galaxy sign Jamieson to Homegrown contract

LA Galaxy have confirmed the signing of Bradford Jamieson IV to a Homegrown Player contract.

The 17-year old forward has signed his first professional deal after impressing in the Galaxy's youth academy, becoming the sixth homegrown player to join the clubs senior ranks.

Los Angeles native Jamieson IV is a USA U17 international who has scored three goals in 11 appearances for the Academy U-18 side in the 2013-2014 US Soccer Developmental Academy season.

He joins Gyasi Zardes, Oscar Sorto, Jose Villarreal, Jack McBean and Tristan Bowen on the list of academy players to make the step up to the senior roster.

"We are thrilled to add Bradford Jamieson IV to our roster and continue our tradition of signing local players to the Galaxy," said head coach Bruce Arena.

"Bradford is a talented forward who will continue to develop and grow as a player within our system."
