LA Galaxy star Landon Donovan believes the USA national team is ready to thrive on the pressure of the World Cup. The team is now in training in South Africa, preparing for their opening group stage match against England on June 12, and Donovan believes that the big stage is no longer a concern for he and his teammates.

"This is your ultimate test as a player," he said.

"This is how you will be remembered; this is what you will be judged on. It brings pressure but it also gets you ready. The sky is the limit and that goes for every player at the World Cup. What more could you ask for?"
