LA Galaxy star Landon Donovan is being linked with a move to English Premier League club Everton. Toffees boss David Moyes is reportedly keen to bring the 27-year old to Goodison Park on loan in January and have him link up with USA teammate Tim Howard.
Donovan already enjoyed a loan stint with German club Bayern Munich at the start of this year and Everton are hoping a similar loan deal can done prior to the next MLS season.
The former Bayer Leverkusen and San Jose Earthquakes produced one of his best seasons in 2009, winning the MLS MVP award, the USA Player of the Year and the LA Galaxy Golden Boot as he helped lead the club to the MLS Cup final and would be an ideal signing for Everton who are struggling with injuries and currently do not have the funds to make a permanent purchase.
