LA Galaxy defender AJ DeLaGarza has committed to the Guam national team.
The 25-year old American-born Galaxy ace has already represented the USA on two occasions but will now be available for Guam selection after being made eligible by his father's side of the family.
"It's an opportunity for myself to play internationally and help a country with what they're doing and progressing internationally," he said.
"Playing in the Asian Football Confederation against Japan, South Korea and China is definitely going to be a challenge and I'm looking forward to it.
"I did talk to (US boss) Juergen (Klinsmann) and even after this year, I won't be cup-tied so if something does happen then who knows.
"But right now, I'm committed to Guam and I'll help them."
