David Beckham is increasingly likely to remain in the USA once his LA Galaxy contract finishes and move into ownership.
The 35-year old former Manchester United and Real Madrid star has a clause in his MLS contract, expiring next November, which allows him to purchase an existing club or create a new one.
Despite the likelihood of clubs in Europe pursuing him when he ends his time with the Galaxy, Beckham is set to stay in the US where he has been living in Los Angeles with his family since 2007.
Beckham has been previously linked with expansion franchise Montreal Impact who are set to enter MLS in 2012 but it is unsure where he will try his hand at ownership with he and his team to look at their options early next year.
From a playing point of view, a January loan deal is also something that has been mooted but after seriously injuring himself last season at AC Milan on loan, the Galaxy may opt against allowing him to leave for the winter.
