MLS club LA Galaxy have reportedly offered David Beckham a chance to stay with the club. The former Manchester United and England midfielder's MLS contract expires at the end of the current season but the Galaxy are keen to have him on for another campaign.
Reports suggest that the offer is a one-year deal, understood to be around $8.9million a year, and Beckham is set to sit down with advisors to decide on his future.
The 36-year old has been the subject of attention from Premier League club QPR, with new chairman Tony Fernandes admitting he would be a great capture, whilst the club he trained with in January, Tottenham Hotspur, have also shown interest.
With Beckham a chance to lead the Great Britain football team at the 2012 London Olympics, a move back home could be on the cards but the reported offer from the Galaxy shows that they are desperate to keep him in North America's domestic league.
