LA Galaxy defender Sean Franklin insists the team is ready to turn around their poor start to the 2012 MLS campaign.
The reigning champions have not won in seven league matches - five of those being losses - and currently sit on the bottom of the Western Conference table.
But with about three weeks since their last MLS match, Franklin says the Galaxy are ready to kick into gear starting with this weekend's home meeting with Portland Timbers.
"It's nice to have a break but we're ready to get rolling again.
"It's good that we're going into a stretch of games where we play quite a few teams from our conference
"Some of those games are a six-point swing and I think that's big for our confidence as far as moving up the standings.""Watching all the Euros and the World Cup qualifiers, myself and the rest of the team are anxious to get back to playing games," Franklin said.
