LA Galaxy hero Beckham would be welcome back at Tottenham – Redknapp
Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp says David Beckham is welcome back to the club anytime.
The 36-year old midfield veteran is currently weighing up a new contract offer from LA Galaxy, who he helped guide to the 2011 MLS Cup, but a two-month loan at Spurs has been mooted and Redknapp insists there is a place for him back at White Hart Lane after he trained there last winter.
“I haven't spoken to him about it, but I could do if he wants to come back. We'd love to have him here.
“Could David play for us? It's a difficult one, I wouldn't know about the financial side of all of that.”“If David wants to come in then of course he can, it's not a problem,” said Redknapp.
