LA Galaxy are moving for released Valencia defender Ivan Helguera. The Spain international is a free agent after being released from his contract at Valencia last month.

Helguera played with Galaxy star David Beckham at Real Madrid and is open to continuing his career in the 'States.

However, Galaxy face competition from AC Milan for the stylish stopper.
