The LA Galaxy fan who exchanged words with David Beckham and entered the field of play has had his lifetime ban rescinded.
On July 19, the fan verbally abused Beckham and jumped down onto the pitch from the Riot Squad (Galaxy supporters group) section of the crowd.
The MLS club decided to lift the ban because the altercation was two-sided with Beckham involved heavily as well.
"When David Beckham motioned to the fan to come down to the field to shake his hand, he was unaware of the stadium's policies regarding fans who enter the field of play," Katie Pandolfo, general manager of Galaxy's Home Depot Center said in a statement.
"Therefore, we have decided to remove the life ban issued to the individual."
