Internacional de Porto Alegre have turned down an offer for midfielder Andres D'Alessandro from LA Galaxy. The Brazilian club's Assessor of Football Fernando Carvalho confirmed the 27-year-old was going nowhere.
"The offer came from the Los Angeles Galaxy of the United States. I didn't even want to listen to the details," Carvalho said. "The offer was for more money than we paid for D'Alessandro, who arrived here for five million euros, but we want to keep the Argentinian."
With speculation growing that Landon Donovan's loan deal with Bayern Munich could become permanent, one thing that is clear is that LA Galaxy is looking outside the country to bolster it's roster.
