Premier League clubs face stiff competition for Real Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso.
Xabi has spoken of wanting to return to the Premier League, where Liverpool and Manchester City are keen.
But he can earn bigger money elsewhere and the Daily Star Sunday says MLS side LA Galaxy and Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala are both interested in signing him.
