LA Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena says the MLS champions will continue to explore the possibilities of bringing in a Designated Player this summer.
Rumours of Frank Lampard joining from Chelsea were completely quashed when the England midfielder signed a one-year extension with the Europa League winners and now the Galaxy will look to other options according to Arena.
"We're still looking for one," Arena told Goal.com regarding the clubs DP plans.
When asked if the Galaxy had been in touch with potential targets, Arena replied, "Of course."
The Galaxy, who have won the past two MLS Cups, lost star midfielder David Beckham at the end of the 2012 season leaving them with just Robbie Keane and Landon Donovan in the DP bracket.
