LA Galaxy president Chris Klein was thrilled to announce a summer friendly with English giants Manchester United.
The four-time MLS Cup winners will host the 20-time English champions at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California on July 23 as part of the Red Devils' preseason for the 2014/15 Premier League season.
Klein was delighted to be able to welcome David Moyes's squad to California in what will be an historic event for the Los Angeles outfit.
"We are excited to take on Manchester United at the Rose Bowl Stadium this summer," said LA Galaxy President Chris Klein.
"We look forward to playing a storied club at a storied venue. As the top club in North America it is important for us to play big games and bring big events to the city of Los Angeles."
