LA Galaxy defender Omar Gonzalez admits he'd consider pledging his international future to Mexico.

Gonzalez is being tipped for a call-up to the USA squad, but remains uncapped.

"Why not?" Gonzalez told ESPN. "Mexico is strong right now, very strong. If something were to come along, I'm definitely going to listen."
