LA Galaxy coach Bruce Arena plans talks with Landon Donovan over his future.

Donovan has cast doubt on starting the new season with the Galaxy.

"I'm going to talk to him to see how he's feeling physically and mentally, and then simply discuss how we move forward," Arena said in a conference call. "I just want to spend some time with Landon, sit down with him and see where he's at to enable us to make a determination how we proceed."
