LA Galaxy coach Arena keen to forget FC Dallas thrashing

LA Galaxy coach Bruce Arena is keen to forget the 6-3 thrashing handed to them by FC Dallas at The Home Depot Center on Saturday.

The Galaxy were thoroughly outplayed by Dallas and Arena plans to forget the aberration as quickly as possible.

"I have seen this before. This looked like the 2006-8 LA Galaxy," Arena said.

"We've got to make that disappear real quick. We weren't right from the start of the game.

"If we had to go out in the track tomorrow and had a race with Dallas tomorrow, they probably beat us.

"Our problem (Saturday) was that we allowed it to be a track meet and not the kind of soccer game we needed it to be and we got beat for it."

Galaxy star Landon Donovan was involved in a push and shove with Dallas' Daniel Hernandez at the end of the game which Arena describe as pleasing as at least there was some fight in his players.

"It was nice to see that we had a little bit of fight in us at the end of the game," Arena added. "It would have been nice if we saw some of that in the 90 minutes before that incident."
