LA Galaxy attacker Donovan added to MLS Allstars roster

LA Galaxy and Major League Soccer announced today that forward Landon Donovan has been added to the MLS All-Star Team as a replacement for injured Galaxy teammate Robbie Keane.

The 2013 AT&T MLS All-Star Game will be played at Sporting Park in Kansas City, Kan. on Wednesday, July 31 at 6 p.m. (ESPN2, UniMas, TSN, RDS) with the All-Stars set to face Italian Serie A side AS Roma.

This is Donovan's MLS-record 13th consecutive All-Star selection dating back to 2001, which was his first season in the league. The all-time leading scorer for the Galaxy, Donovan has three goals and six assists while making 13 appearances in the league this season.
