Goalkeeper Brian Perk has joined LA Galaxy following his release from Philadelphia Union.

The 21-year old rookie gloveman was taken by the Union with the 49th overall SuperDraft pick but was waived just last week by the Union.

However, the Galaxy have added him to their playing roster and he is expected to link up with his new teammates for training on Friday.
