Gyasi Zardes did some star-spotting while in the Netherlands this week.

The LA Galaxy striker is in Amsterdam with the USA national team for Friday's friendly with Holland at the Amsterdam Arena.

On Wednesday night, the 23-year old was given the opportunity to meet Adam Levine, lead vocalist for American pop rock band Maroon 5.

The California natives posed for a snap after Maroon 5's show at the Ziggo Dome as part of their 'maroonvtour'.

Zardes, who has five caps to his name, will be hoping to add to his tally when Jurgen Klinsmann's US side meet Guus Hiddink's Oranje on Friday.
