LA Galaxy striker Robbie Keane fancies a return to Aston Villa.

The Sun says the Republic of Ireland skipper, on loan from LA Galaxy at Aston Villa, is understood to be homesick.

Keane, 31, returns to the United States next week after a successful stint with Villa which has seen him score three times.

The much-travelled striker has been a success with David Beckham at Galaxy and helped the team win the MLS Cup last year.

But while Keane will now prepare for the start of the season in Los Angeles, he will listen to offers from Premier League clubs with Villa clearly in the driving seat.
