LA Galaxy ace Keane admits break has come at the wrong time for him personally

Robbie Keane was back in scoring form on the weekend with a match-winning double as LA Galaxy defeated DC United 3-1.

The reigning MLS champions will now get the opportunity to have a two-week break after competing in the CONCACAF Champions League recently and although he admits it is nice to have time away from the game, ex-Tottenham star Keane would love to continue playing after hitting his straps on the weekend.

"As a striker, when you're scoring, you want to keep playing," admitted Keane. "But of course, we look forward to the break.

"You don't normally get to many opportunities to have a break. I'm sure we'll get a good bit of training in the next few weeks and hopefully you'll see an even stronger team over the next couple of weeks."

The Galaxy are back in action on April 1 when they host New England Revolution at The Home Depot Center.
