Robbie Keane was back in scoring form on the weekend with a match-winning double as LA Galaxy defeated DC United 3-1.
The reigning MLS champions will now get the opportunity to have a two-week break after competing in the CONCACAF Champions League recently and although he admits it is nice to have time away from the game, ex-Tottenham star Keane would love to continue playing after hitting his straps on the weekend.
"You don't normally get to many opportunities to have a break. I'm sure we'll get a good bit of training in the next few weeks and hopefully you'll see an even stronger team over the next couple of weeks.""As a striker, when you're scoring, you want to keep playing," admitted Keane. "But of course, we look forward to the break.
The Galaxy are back in action on April 1 when they host New England Revolution at The Home Depot Center.
