LA Galaxy midfielder Steven Gerrard is delighted with the appointment of Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool.

The German was confirmed as Brendan Rodgers' replacement on Thursday night after agreeing a three-year deal.

Klopp was unveiled by Liverpool on Friday to their global support.

And former Reds skipper Gerrard taking to Instagram to reveal his thoughts on the new man at the helm.

He posted: "Exciting time to be a red...Best wishes Mr Klopp. YNWA."
