Scotland striker Kevin Kyle confessed: I would dive if it got us to a Finals, reports the Scottish Sun. The Kilmarnock star knows an act of cheating similar to that of Liverpool hitman David Ngog in the 2-2 draw with Birmingham would see him pilloried.

As he geared up for the friendly with Wales, Kyle insisted: "A lot has been made of diving but I don't know how to dive because I'm honestly not that kind of person.

"But if it meant my team getting any advantage and a penalty? I'd probably take the opportunity.

"I'm not going to lie. I probably would do it, because you go out on a Saturday just wanting your team to win at any cost - and you take every opportunity that's available to you.

"Yes, you will get criticised, hounded by the press and slaughtered for doing it but the only thing that matters is your team getting a victory."
