Kyle Naughton is delighted with his recent run in Tottenham's first team.

The full-back is enjoying his first consistent run in the team after initially joining us from Sheffield United in July, 2009.

"I have had to be patient here at Spurs, it's taken a few years to get a run in the side, but the gaffer seems to like the way I play, he's giving me a chance and it's up to me now to take it," the fullback told Spurs' official matchday programme.

"I've played a few games lately and it's great to get consecutive matches.

"I've been pleased with my performances, but the main thing for me is that the team got the points over the busy festive period.

"Hopefully we can keep doing well and I can stay in the team for a few more games."
