Portland Timbers have announced the signing of Ghana international Adam Larsen Kwarasey.
The 26-year old Norwegian-born goalkeeper has joined the MLS club from Tippeligaen outfit Stromsgodset where he has been since 2007.
Oslo native Kwarasey has played 23 times for Ghana including one appearance at the 2014 World Cup was influential in Stromsgodset's 2013 Norwegian title triumph in winning the Tippeligaen Goalkeeper of the Year award.
Kwarasey joins Colombian winger Dairon Asprilla, Brazilian defender Jeanderson Salvador Pereira and Jamaican full-back Alvas Powell at the JELD-WEN Field.
