Dirk Kuyt has called on Liverpool to stand by Luis Suarez.
Suarez is facing a lengthy ban after sinking his teeth into the shoulder of Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini during Uruguay's World Cup win yesterday.
Former Reds ace Kuyt told talkSPORT before the incident: "He's had some problems but once again last year he did an amazing job at Liverpool, and everyone can see what he has done at the World Cup.
"I think for him it was very important that Liverpool will be playing in the Champions League next season, so I don't see him going to another team.
"I think his next stage is to play in the Champions League with Liverpool."
