Dirk Kuyt is delighted with the quality of players within the current Liverpool squad.
The Dutchman admits it has taken some time for the summer signings to adapt to life at Anfield but he feels that now things are heading in the right direction even if the Reds have dropped some vital points in the Premier League at times.
"But we have a quality group of players. Not just 11 players but a great squad. We beat (Manchester) United, we beat Arsenal, we have beaten Everton twice, but it's true we dropped too many points in other games and that's what we're trying to change.""We've made a great spell of progress. It's never easy when a lot of new players are coming into the club. You have to fit them into the team," Kuyt told Liverpool FC TV ahead of Sunday's FA Cup quarter-final against Stoke City.
