Kuyt ready to ink new Liverpool contract

Dirk Kuyt is keen to sign a new deal with Liverpool.

Kuyt is ready to commit his long term future to Liverpool by signing a new contract that will keep him at Anfield until 2014.

The Holland international has two seasons left on the deal he signed in May 2009 but the terms have been renegotiated to effectively give him a new three-year deal, says the Daily Mail.

"I want to stay because the club is showing ambition, the team is getting stronger and my family and I absolutely love it here. I hope I will sign my contract very soon," said Kuyt.
